Field 1 has green space all along the side and behind the goal along the pine trees. There is space in front of the concession stand behind the goal of Field 10 and off to the side of Field 8 & behind Field 7. Field 2 by the tennis courts has green space around the field. Feel free to move your practice to a park or a school with green space as well. TYSA will keep you posted as to field conditions throughout the week. Thanks for your cooperation.

Last year this tournament was reorganized and became the Gunderson Cup. TYSA would like to offer their U9 and up teams the opportunity to participate in the Gunderson Cup if they so choose. TYSA will pay the entry fee for Tomah teams participating in the Gunderson Cup. Below is a short description of the tournament.

Coaches…if you would like to take your team to the Gunderson Cup, please contact Deb Reid no later than May 4th. Deb will take care of registering your team for the event.

Because the Gunderson Cup is on Memorial Weekend, which also happens to be high school graduation weekend for Tomah, TYSA will sponsor the entry fee for a different tournament of the coach’s choosing equal to the Gunderson Cup entry fee. Gunderson Cup fees are listed below. If a coach chooses a different tournament, he or she will need to contact Deb Reid no later than May 15th.

The Gunderson Cup is a soccer jamboree to benefit Gunderson Lutheran Global Partners and Coulee Region United Soccer Association (CRUSA) Games will begin the evening of Friday, May 25 and end on Sunday, May 27.

The tournament is open to all ages (U5 through adult) and is being held at the award-winning "Fields for Kids" soccer complex. Teams will be separated into 12 age divisions, with U15 through U18 and adult teams playing five versus five small-sided games. All teams are guaranteed three games with certified referees and field marshals, and U5 through U8 teams will play under the "Friday Night Lights" just like professional players!

Proceeds from the soccer jamboree will benefit both Gunderson Lutheran Global Partners and CRUSA. Registration for the Gunderson Cup is open through Monday, May 7th. A downloadable registration form, which includes prices and more information about this exciting event, is available online.
